Complete site front and back end redesign

Prior to its being absorbed by AT&T, SBC’s online yellow pages product was SMARTpages.com. During the summer of 2004 it underwent a complete front and back end redesign to offer new technological services as well as bring its online visual language up to date. This relaunch was titled “Project Seymour”, the idea being that users would “see more” and get more from the product. I was the acting art director, managing a team of four graphic designers and collaborating with developers, presenting to board members, and reporting to VP project managers to conceptualize and execute the eight month long over haul.
The images below outline the core strategy that was presented to the board members. This site went live in September 2004.
